Admission

Apply for admissions

Admissions are on a rolling basis and dependant on the availability of seats. We encourage you to apply early to ensure the selection of your ward. However, we grant admission to children in other grades as well, depending on availability of seats.

The Admissions Department will provide you with help and guidance throughout all aspects of the admissions process. We welcome general enquiries and we are happy to discuss issues of a much more specific nature about the school. You are most welcome to visit the school and have an informal discussion with or without your child. This can be done by fixing a prior appointment with our admissions officer through mail at office@jphschool.com or telephone 0141-4132222 , 0141-4132233 . We look forward to meeting you.

Admissions Criteria and Process
Entry to the school is not automatic and we select candidates carefully. A number of factors will be taken into consideration and will play an important part in our decision making:

  • Previous school reports and references
  • Signs of ‘constructive energy’ related to all aspects of school
  • Proficiency in English
  • A written exam of English and Mathematics

This is followed by an interview. We are interested in knowing about the student’s educational development, use of language, social skills, academic enthusiasms and extra-curricular interests. The aim of the interview is to find about what the student knows, understands and enjoys. Parents are requested to be frank and honest in providing information in the admission application form. This information would in fact help the school to create a suitable environment for your child, once admitted. Any wrong information discovered later may lead to cancellation of admission. On being offered a place, parents are required to pay the admission fee and security deposit to secure their place. Mere granting of admission does not secure the place of the child and the parent must complete all the formalities.
